How much does solar cost?
You are already paying an electricity bill. We take what you are paying to the electric company and get it to $0 as close as possible. With the difference between your previous bill and the new lowered (close to $0) bill, we use that to pay for solar. It's pretty much a bill swap, within dollars of what you are used to paying. When will I start to see savings? Will it be in 25 years?
You will start to see savings well before 5-25 years and well before solar is paid off. Once your solar panels are installed and operational, you'll start generating your own electricity, reducing your dependence on the grid. What is the Warranty?
Our solar panels have an incredible 25 year production warranty. This guarantees that the panels will produce a certain percentage of their original power output over the 25 years. If they don't, the solar panel(s) is replaced at no cost to you via the warranty. This is much higher compared to most other major appliances in your home such as your A/C, Water Heater, and other standard appliances such as your refrigerator and stove.
What happens when it hails?
Hail, Yes! Our solar panels are designed to withstand a baseball at 90 miles per hour. If a 90 mph baseball comes in contact with your roof, you will need to file an insurance claim. IF a solar panel is damaged during a hail storm, it is covered by your home insurance. In most cases, your home insurance will go up by around $5 to $7 a month, but with solar saving you more than this over the life span of the solar panels, this is not a large increase at all.
What happens if I move?
Life happens, and you may move. If you move, you can either leave the solar panels on your existing home or take them with you, whichever is best for you at that time. If you decide to leave them, it is an energy efficient improvement to your house and a selling point since the next homeowner won’t have to pay even higher electricity bills.
